This is the perfect activity to enjoy with all of the family, especially now restrictions are lifting, so pop by and collect your copy now.
The trails include: The Colosseum (outside), St Angelo Castle (inside, ticketed), the Capitoline Museums (inside, ticketed), the Pantheon (inside, free) and a city center train between the Navona and the Trevi neighborhood (free).

One of the best things about Colchester is that there's so much to explore that's completely free. Download a Family Heritage Treasure Trail, follow the map, and discover some of the town's historical highlights.
With the choice of two routes; a longer trail out the the Roman Circus, or a shorter trail within the town centre, this is a perfect activity for all ages. Happy Heritage Hunting!
Please note the Heritage Trail was an activity created for the School Summer Holidays in 2019. Unfortunately we can no longer guarantee to have any prize stock left for completed trails, however it's still a fantastic way to spend an afternoon heritage hunting!
Two free trails are also available to download and print off before you visit. The Roman Gallery Trail is suitable for KS2, and takes you around the Roman galleries. You can learn about the prehistory of Yorkshire by following the trail around the museum with the Prehistoric Progress Trail.
This involves downloading the free Geocaching App onto your phone where you create an account. You then use to App to navigate your way to the hidden geocaches. A geocache is basically some sort of hidden item and there are lots of them in and around York.

There is a delightful cafe as well as picnic and barbecue spots and space for kids to run around and be free. You can follow the cycling trails on a family bike ride. Visit in May for beautiful bluebells or at one of the events across the year. f9413d35dd
