/11/2010"<> Yeah I read that, pretty much. But I'm a self taught musician (I'm a solid amateur) and I am interested in hearing what people think of these things. What I'm specifically interested in is the "binaural" part, because that stuff seems to have more "musical" merit. And another question: What is the difference between EQ and equalizer, if any? Re: [Mason's] - "EQ" is the wrong word, binaural is your best bet. EQ is just an overall equalizer. The techniques you use in your head to create and manipulate EQ vary, so there is not a "one size fits all" EQ that exists. But there are elements of "binaural" in this plugin, it sounds like. I really like these plugins. The instrumentally perfect part is mostly about the "fuzzy feel" (but we can't have that with our ears!). I find it fascinating that they chose to make something that could be used to soften the sound, even though it's (supposedly) a dynamic control for musical purposes. I find the amount of room required for these kind of plugins to be rather annoying, it does seem like I can only play one of these per day without sounding like a crap. Maybe I'm just being a nimrod but the way I like to listen is to play my guitar in an acoustically dead room, if I have to then by the time I get to the effects my ears and head are fatigued and I sound like a fool. I want to try a few but I'm wary of the environment these seem to require, too many things can go wrong and I don't want to be stuck with a bad sound due to electrical or mechanical failure. EQ is just an overall equalizer. The techniques you use in your head to create and manipulate EQ vary, so there is not a "one size fits all" EQ that exists. But there are elements of "binaural" in this plugin, it sounds like. "binaural" is for your ears, not your head (or, your brain). 847798691e
